As a prime contractor, Alelo, a developer of advanced language and culture training solutions, will support the Army's ongoing smart power initiatives during overseas deployments. Officials say Alelo will be expected to provide the Army with foreign language and culture instructional design, including the company's game-based learning environments, among other services.

"We are delighted to have this opportunity to serve the Army as one of its preferred training system vendors," W. Lewis Johnson, Alelo president and chief scientist, said in a statement.
