NEW YORK, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- A group of security industry veterans has launched a new advisory firm with offices in Washington and New York aimed at supporting new defense companies.
The Secure Strategy Group was formed to help next-generation defense companies navigate security and defense markets.
Scott Greiper, Secure Strategy Group president, says the new company is part of an effort to support companies developing technologies to combat the evolving threat of terrorism.
"The challenges of combating modern terrorism and crime demand advanced digital, networking and web-based technologies that were largely absent in the pre-Sept. 11 security world, and in large part it's been small to midsized companies that have stepped up," Greiper said in a statement.
