Work will be performed in Vermont. The estimated completion date is January 2019. The Army Contracting Command is the contracting activity.

The Hydra rocket family performs a variety of roles, including anti-materiel, anti-personnel and air-to-ground suppression missions.

The rockets include unitary and cargo warheads for use against point and area targets.

They can defeat threats at extended ranges as well as providing battlefield obscuration, illumination and marking.

The rockets fire from tube launchers that can be mounted on rotary and fixed-wing aircraft.
