RENA, Norway, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Norwegian tank pilots taught U.S. Marines how to drift their tanks on the snow ahead of Norway's Cold Response 2016 military exercise.

The demonstration involved M1A1 Abrams tanks and Amphibious Assault Vehicles. The M1A1 Abrams weights almost 70 tons, and is considered one of the heaviest tanks in the word. Amphibious Assault Vehicles are designed for attacking shorelines from naval assault ships, and are capable of carrying over 10,000 pounds of cargo.
