Jacobs Engineering continues Aberdeen Test Center support

The U.S. Army has again tapped Jacobs Engineering for test support at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

PASADENA, Calif., Feb. 2 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has contracted Jacobs Engineering Group to continue providing support services to the Aberdeen Test Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award is for five years and carries a value of $436 million.

"Jacobs is delighted to be selected to continue to support the U.S. Army's critical test mission at ATC, one of the nation's most important major range and test facility bases," said Jacobs Senior Vice President, Aerospace and Technology Darren Kraabel.

"This contract award is reflective of recent investments we have made to broaden our global range operations and maintenance portfolio. We see tremendous growth opportunity for Jacobs in this market and look forward to sharing our best practices in test and evaluation and asset management more broadly."

Jacobs Engineering, headquartered in California, has been providing support services to ATC since 2001.
