Army, Coast Guard contract Tetra Tech for engineering services

PASADENA, Calif., Jan. 30 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Coast Guard have separately contracted Tetra Tech Inc. to provide architectural and engineering services.

Under a $60 million award from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tetra Tech will provide a full range of services for infrastructure and facilities -- from the initial stages of program development and planning, through all aspects of design -- throughout the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility.

The indefinite-delivery, single award is for one year, with the possibility of four option years.

The company is now completing its final projects under a previous contract, which included master planning, and design for expansion and modernization of Iraqi air force bases.

Under the U.S. Coast Guard contract, Tetra Tech will provide services in support of USCG environmental compliance, restoration and environmental liabilities, planning and sustainability programs. The services will be performed at both onshore and offshore structures, including navigational aids such as lighthouses, in the United States and territories.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is for five years and carries a value of $60 million.
