ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Analytical and program services in support of the U.S. Navy's environmental requirements for its installations are to be provided by CACI.
The award for the services was given under a SeaPort-e contract CACI received from the Navy in 2004. The work -- for one base year of performance, with a one-year option -- is worth $45 million.
"CACI's work will help the U.S. Navy efficiently and effectively respond to the dynamic environment of the Pacific Rim's vulnerable ecosystem," said John Mengucci, CACI chief operating officer and president of U.S. Operations. "At the same time, our solutions will assist the Navy as it realigns its mission in this region."
CACI said its work -- for the Navy Region Marianas and the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific and the U.S. Air Force in Hawaii -- will be in four main areas: environmental planning support, acquisition program management support, modeling and simulation support and program management.
