ManTech continues Army's DCGS-A support

FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 16 (UPI) -- ManTech International will continue to support the U.S. Army's Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command under a $45 million task order.

Support will specifically be for the Distributed Common Ground System-Army, primary system for posting data, process information, and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance information.

"ISR is an important component of DCGS-A, providing invaluable information to the battlefield commander," said Louis M. Addeo, president and chief operating officer of ManTech's Technical Services Group. "ManTech provides the full spectrum of information technology support to Department of Defense programs, and we will leverage that capability to help the DCGS-A program exploit ISR opportunities in the battle space."

The task order, under a Strategic Services Sourcing prime contract is for a one-year period of performance, plus one option year.

Under the task order ManTech will continue providing engineering, logistics, and business operations support for the incorporation of ISR capabilities into DCGS-A. Included are integration, testing, fielding, software, systems engineering and architectural support.
