"CSC has been supporting the Missile Defense Agency and its predecessors for nearly 30 years," said Alan B. Weakley, president of CSC's North American Public Sector Defense Group.

"Leveraging our experience and specialized skill set, CSC will optimize processes, procedures, and training to prove system capability and reliability prior to deployment.

"The importance of this optimization is recognized at both the agency and national levels and is critical in a budget-conscious environment."

The award has a one-year base period of performance and a one-year option and comes under an earlier Missile Defense Agency Engineering and Support Services contract awarded to CSC.

CSC said it will support test management through all phases of the MDA test concept of operations process and coordinate the activities with their engineering and ballistic missile defense systems programs.
