HERNDON, Va., Aug. 12 (UPI) -- The U.S. Department of the Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center-Fort Eustis has given Northrop a training and technical services contract.
The award is in support of the U.S. Army Mission Command Training Program.
The $388.4 million cost-plus-award fee contract includes a one-year base performance period and four option years. Work will be performed at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., and training facilities worldwide.

The Northrop Grumman team provides critical training support based on real world threat scenarios to U.S. Army and allied commanders and staffs from battalion through corps level. No U.S. Army brigade since Operation Desert Shield has deployed into a combat theater without going through an MCTP exercise.
