DynCorp given military maintenance orders

FALLS CHURCH, Va., July 25 (UPI) -- DynCorp International's field teams will perform aviation maintenance work for the U.S. Air Force under task orders worth as much as $244.8 million.

Under the Regional Aviation Support Management -- West order, the company will provide logistics support, maintenance support and property accountability of all associated government furnished equipment within the RASM-W Area of Responsibility.

The primary maintenance support facilities for RASM-W include Killeen Aviation Facility, Temple Aviation Facility, San Angelo Aviation Facility, Biggs Army Airfield, Fort Bliss, Texas, and the Fort Riley, Kan., Marshall Army Airfield.

RASM-W AOR includes, but isn't limited to, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota and Texas.

The second order is for the Fort Drum Directorate of Logistics Aviation Logistics Management Division. Under the task order, DynCorp will provide rotary wing aviation intermediate maintenance, aviation unit maintenance, limited depot repair and other support at Fort Drum, N.Y., and other locations.
