DLA contracts for program support

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 (UPI) -- The U.S. Defense Logistics Agency will receive program support from Robbins-Gioia LLC under two one-year awards with options worth $4.5 million.

The first award, valued at $2.4 million, is for program management support services to the DLA Information Operations Systems Engineer office, with a six-month option valued at $1.2 million.

Under the contract, Robbins-Gioia will assist DLA in improving its acquisition process, enabling simultaneous product and process development based upon a total system design solution that balances cost, schedule, performance and risk.

The second award, valued at $2.1 million, is for support services to the DLA Information Operations (J62A) Enterprise Architecture.

Robbins-Gioia will assist DLA in delivering enterprise architecture for the IT systems. Robbins-Gioia and DLA will first identify the as-is enterprise architecture and use it as a basis to evolve and deliver enterprise-level data, infrastructure and application component architectures.
