SINGAPORE, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- The Singapore armed forces have contracted ST Kinetics to maintain their vehicles and preserve equipment under contracts worth $124 million.
Each contract is for four years, run concurrently and commence immediately, the company said.
"These two contracts are testimonies of SAF's continued confidence that ST Kinetics is able to meet the stringent requirements of the SAF and ensure the high availability of their mission critical assets," ST Kinetics President Sew Chee Jhuen said. "They are an affirmation of the excellent support that we have given them through the years.
"We will continue to innovate and build more capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the SAF, including through-life support," he said.
ST Kinetics is a unit of the country's Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd, an integrated engineering group providing solutions and services in the aerospace, electronics, land systems and marine sectors.
ST Kinetics has been providing dedicated engineering services and performing depot-level maintenance, repair and overhaul of SAF vehicles and their components for more than 15 years under a strategic sourcing contract.
