The Chinook multi-role helicopter serves as a transport vehicle for troop-supply missions and humanitarian-response efforts. It is in service in more than 18 countries.

Boeing under the 10-year program worked with 20 different Spanish companies through Isdefe, the Spanish firm that manages industrial contracts on behalf of the Spanish government.

"In cooperation with Isdefe, Boeing is bringing high-value opportunities to Spanish industry," said Gwen Kopsie, director of international industrial participation for Boeing Defense, Space and Security

Boeing is working through Isdefe to support the development of a $13 million program for the Harpoon advanced weapon control system. The Harpoon program is scheduled for a 2012 completion date.
