NCI to provide IT support for NEC

RESTON, Va., April 6 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has selected NCI to provide cybersecurity and information technology support services at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia.

U.S. company NCI announced it received the contract to provide the Army's Network Enterprise Center with IT support. NCI officials say the IT services will support both the Garrison located at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield and also the 3rd Infantry Division located at Fort Stewart.

Under the approximately $14 million deal, NCI will provide the Network Enterprise Center with cybersecurity, information assurance, software and network fault management support among other requirements.

"NCI is proud to be awarded the Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield Network Enterprise Center task order," Terry Glasgow, NCI president, said in a statement.

"We are keenly aware of Fort Stewart's critical warfighting mission responsibilities and look forward to providing outstanding support."
