SEATTLE, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Reports suggest Amazon is set to launch its own version of an internet-to-tv set-top box, that will allow users to stream online content directly to their televisions.
Tech news website Re/Code reports that the product will run on Google's Android OS, similar to the one running on Amazon's Kindle Fire tablet. The device will have to compete with similar streaming products from Apple and Roku, as well as Google Chromecast to a lesser extent.
