Wendy's photo of frosty licker prompts restaurant response

International food chain Wendy's issued a response Wednesday following the release of a photo in which an employee is eating the restaurant's famous Frosty ice cream straight from the machine.

"Totally inexcusable. This involved one restaurant and the employee is no longer there. We're reinforcing proper procedures," Bob Bertini, a spokesman for Wendy's wrote in an email to the Journal Sentinel.

The photo, which went viral Wednesday after it was posted on Reddit, came out a week after a picture of a Taco Bell employee licking a stack of tacos went viral.

After investigating the the matter, Taco Bell released a statement announcing the employee had been terminated.
