CONESTOGA , Pa., Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Turkey Hill Dairy announced in a recall notice Monday it inadvertently put its Rocky Road Premium Ice Cream in Dutch Chocolate Premium containers.

The Pennsylvania-based company, owner by retailer Kroger Co., did not specify how many 48 oz. containers of mislabeled ice cream were sold, but said the ice cream could contain almonds and eggs, harmful to some with food sensitivities and allergies, without those ingredients listed on the packages. No reports of illness have been received.

Purchasers are asked to look for a code date of May 23, 2017 on the bottom of the package, which can be returned to the place of purchase for a refund, or to contact the dairy at 1-800-693-2479.
