Uber experimenting with free rides to the movies nationwide

The service will be tested with "Kingsman: The Secret Service."

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Uber and 20th Century Fox are planning to provide free rides to the movies.

The two have announced a contest where Uber users can go to an advanced screening of Kingsman: The Secret Service one month before it's released. Some will get a ticket and a free ride.

Uber riders will have to enter a promo code specific to their city before 10am on January 15 for a chance to win a ticket. Users in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, and Washington D.C. will also be entered in for a chance to get a free ride to the screening. Three people who enter the contest will receive tickets to fly to New York for the major screening.

Kingsman: The Secret Service is a film about a spy agency where an older agent shows a younger kid how to do the job. It officially comes out in theaters on Feb. 13.
