WASHINGTON, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Lion Force Inc. of Brooklyn, N.Y., is recalling about 2,400 boys' puffer coats due to a strangulation hazard, a federal watchdog agency said.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the coats were imported from China and sold at Burlington Coat Factory outlets from November 2010 through September 2013 for about $30.
The coats are black and hooded, with dark gray drawstrings around the hood. They are 100 percent nylon coats with a hood that detaches. "Lion Force" is printed on the upper left side of the front of the coat and on the tag at the back of the neck.
The coats under recall are sizes 4-12.
Consumers were advised to remove the drawstring or contact Lion Force for a full refund.
