Crude oil slides toward $93

NEW YORK, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Crude oil slipped toward $93 per barrel Tuesday as the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries said 2014 would see supply gains outpace demand.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate, light, sweet crude shed $2.02 cents to $93.12 per barrel. Reformulated gasoline shed 0.76 cents to reach $2.5889 a gallon.

Home heating oil dropped 3.52 cents to hit $2.8561 a gallon.

Natural gas gained 7 cents to $3.65 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline dropped to $3.179 per gallon, down from Monday's $3.186, the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report said
