Crude oil prices rise Tuesday

NEW YORK, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices rose modestly in New York Tuesday as equities rebounded on Wall Street.

West Texas Intermediate crude oil for November delivery added $2.18 to $88.28 per barrel.

Home heating oil gained 0.73 cents to reach $3.035. Reformulated blendstock gasoline prices added 1.51 cents to $2.762 per gallon.

Henry Hub natural gas prices for November delivery lost 0.4 cents to $3.549 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline rose to $3.469 per gallon from Monday's $3.462, AAA said.
