B.O.B. jogging strollers recalled

WASHINGTON, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of 438,000 B.O.B. Trailers jogging strollers due to a choking hazard.

An embroidered logo's backing patch can detach and increase risks of a child choking, the commission said.

The firm has received six reports of children mouthing the detached patch, which is positioned on the stroller's canopy.

The strollers were imported from China and Taiwan and sold nationwide from November 1998 through October 2011 for $280 to $600.

Consumers were advised to stop using the strollers and remove the embroidery backing patch. Consumers can call B.O.B. Trailers of Boise, Idaho, at 855-242-2245 for more information.
