NEW YORK, June 2 (UPI) -- The brother of convicted Ponzi scheme operator Bernard Madoff is selling his home to benefit victims of the massive fraud, sources told the New York Post.

The home with four acres of property belonging to Peter Madoff lies adjacent to a golf course in a tony area of Old Westbury, N.Y., and is valued at about $6.5 million.

Not to be upstaged by his brother, a Florida mansion and belongings of Bernard Madoff, convicted of operating a Ponzi scheme that lost billions of dollars, is scheduled to be auctioned Saturday.
