SYDNEY, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Rupert Murdoch, media mogul and owner of News Corp., has bought Vogue Australia in a deal reported to be worth $180 million.
The Independent said that News Ltd., the Australian branch of News Corp., is acquiring 25 magazines, including Delicious and Australian Golf Digest.

News Ltd., which owns the national paper The Australian, reportedly outbid rivals that included James Packer's Publishing & Broadcasting, Pacific Magazines and John Fairfax Holdings.
Murdoch founded News Corp. in his native Australia in 1952, the Independent reported. He later moved the company to the United States.
