ATLANTA, June 16 (UPI) -- Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines disclosed Friday that it will, as expected, seek to have the U.S. government take over its pension obligations.
The bankrupt carrier plans to ask formally Monday for relief from the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., which guarantees a portion of private pension plans, CNN said.
