HOUSTON, March 6 (UPI) -- The star prosecution witness in the Houston trial of Enron Corp.'s former leaders is expected to give his testimony this week.
Ken Fastow, Enron's chief financial officer until 2001, reached a plea with federal prosecutors for a shortened prison term in exchange for testifying against Enron founder Ken Lay and former president Jeff Skilling.

Fastow is expected to testify this week, most likely Tuesday, the Houston Chronicle said.
Prosecutors will try to use Fastow's testimony to support conspiracy charges Lay and Skilling face, and corroborate testimony that attempted to show that the pair committed securities and wire fraud in false statements made to investors, analysts and employees.
