NEW YORK, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Dubai Ports World has agreed to delay its deal to take over management of six U.S. ports so Washington lawmakers can evaluate related security concerns.
DPW bought London-based Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co., which runs the ports in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Miami, New Orleans, New York and Newark, N.J., MarketWatch said Friday.

But DPW will close its global deal affecting 30 terminals in 18 other countries.
