Russian crude oil shipments to China grow

MOSCOW, May 27 (UPI) -- Russian Railways plans to haul 690,000 tons of crude oil to China in June, 430,000 of which is production from Moscow's state-owned Rosneft.

Besides the Rosneft production, Yukos will account for another 230,000 and Sibneft an additional 30,000 tons of crude oil, Novosti reported Friday.

In the first five months of this year, Russian Railways transported an estimated 680,000 tons of oil to China.

By the end of this year an estimated 10 million tons of Russian crude oil will have been shipped to China, Russian officials said.
