SEOUL, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- The Bank of Korea reports that South Korea 's trade surplus hit a record $4.49 billion surplus last month.
But the country's service account was in deficit for the month, the Korea Times reported, at $874.7 million. That was down from $1.19 million.

Economic experts say that while South Korea's exports are clearly doing well, more people are also going outside the country to study and to play golf. Lee In-kyu of the Bank of Korea told the newspaper the country should make an effort to improve its service sector to cut the drain of cash.
