LOS ANGELES -- The widow of Esther Williams' first husband, actor Benjamin Gage, filed a $1 million lawsuit against the swimming actress and her children, accusing them of fraudulently using home movies for profit, court documents showed Wednesday.

Anne Gage claimed in the suit, filed Tuesday in Superior Court, that Benjamin Gage Jr. borrowed home movies from her in April 1983, saying he wanted to watch them for sentimental reasons.

She said clips from the films were used in the production of Williams' commercial video, 'Swim Baby Swim,' in which the former Olympic gold medalist teaches children how to swim.

Anne Gage claimed she is entitled to one third of the profits from the video.

Also named in the suit Stuart Karl of Karl Video Corp.
