Pork sausage recalled

WASHINGTON, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Crofton & Sons Inc. of Tampa, Fla., on Thursday recalled 8,600 pounds of ready-to-eat, fresh and frozen pork sausage products because of possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled products were produced Sept. 24 and distributed to wholesale and retail stores in Florida under the Bean Brothers, Uncle John's Pride and Correct Choice brands. Each of the products bear the establishment code 9179 inside the Agriculture Department seal.
