EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Opera soprano Renée Fleming opened Sunday night's Super Bowl with a flawless rendition of the "The Star-Spangled Banner."

The 55-year-old singer looked elegant as she performed at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey wearing a black dress with a white wrap around her. She was preceded by Queen Latifah who sang "America the Beautiful" with the New Jersey Youth Choir.
