Katie Couric to marry this summer

NEW YORK, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Television journalist Katie Couric said she plans to marry fiancé John Molner this summer.

On hand at radio shock jock Howard Stern's 60th birthday bash at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom, Couric introduced a performance by Jewel and also took the time to mention her upcoming nuptials.

She said Stern isn't invited to the wedding, "but to the party."

"It's going to be family only," she said.

Stern offered to officiate the wedding that night and Molner was quick to accept the offer.
