Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Meryl Streep is so obviously a cut above every other human that even everyday celebrities can't help but fangirl over her.
Vanessa Hudgens admitted later that she "really lost it" after meeting Streep backstage before her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Monday. The Gimme Shelter star cried tears of joy when she stepped out to greet DeGeneres.
"Vanessa is freaking out right now," DeGeneres told the audience.
"You have no idea," the 25-year-old actress said. "I was back there wiping off the tears. I'm still so emotional. She's just so amazing."
"She's so sweet. I got to meet her back there and she's so beautiful. It's mind-blowing. She just radiates light and love and talent. She's amazing. It's crazy," Hudgens added.
DeGeneres then presented Hudgens with Streep's coffee mug.
"I'm never washing it!" Hudgens said.
