Bruce Jenner's ponytail needs its own manager, Kris says

Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Kris Jenner said she's not a fan of estranged husband Bruce Jenner's new do — a ponytail.

"I try to manage it," she said of the hairstyle. "It needs its own manager, I think. I think we ganged up on him as a group. Kendall and Kylie are on ponytail patrol, as we speak, trying to get rid of it."

Kris told "Today" that though she and Bruce have split up and are living in different houses, they're still friends.

"We're best friends. I mean, we talk all the time," Jenner assured. "Right now, it's just ... we're happier the way that we are right now. We're really happy. Life is normal, except we're living in two different houses."

Bruce lives in Malibu, while Kris shares a home with daughters Kendall and Kyle and Kim's family.

Meanwhile, Kris said daughter Khloe Kardashian's split from husband from NBA player Lamar Odom has been particularly difficult.

Season nine of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" premiers on E! on Jan. 19.
