Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Jon Gosselin told Oprah Winfrey last month that his once-popular reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8, gave his children developmental problems, months after ex-wife Kate Gosselin sued him for allegedly hacking into his computer and phone accounts (she later dropped the charges).

So it's safe to say that the exes still don't think highly of one another. In a recent interview with Philadelphia magazine -- in which the 36-year-old father of eight discusses his new life as a waiter and woodsman -- Jon doesn't mince words about his ex-wife.

"Everyone thinks I'm out to get Kate. I don't give a f***! What would I get out of it?" Gosselin said. Everyone knows she's an a**hole, you know what I mean? I don't have to -- she's proven that!"

"Kate wants to still be on television," he added. "She’s now digging into the past, because that’s what sells. Too late, honey. No one gives a f***, really.”

But Jon is about to be on television himself. He's signed on to Vh1's reality show, Couples Therapy, in which he'll try to work on his two-year relationship with girlfriend Liz Jannetta.

“I didn’t put out an open bid," Jon said, defending his decision. "This is something that just popped up We needed the therapy for our relationship. We really couldn’t afford therapy. And it’s free therapy.”

Gosselin, who deleted his Twitter account last year, also criticized Kate for using social media to share personal information about her kids.

“She tweets everything," he said of @KatePlusMy8. "To the world, all about my children. I think it’s disgusting and awful. They can’t even have a normal life.”

Couples Therapy begins January 2.
