Dec. 28 (UPI) -- A Washington family was in for a fishy surprise Christmas morning when their 14-year-old daughter opened what she thought was a package containing the new headphones she wanted, only to find four cans of tuna instead.

Steve Lopez said his daughter had asked Santa for a set of Beats Headphones, but his local Walmart didn't have any in stock. He told Q13Fox-TV, Seattle he ordered a set online and had them delivered to the Marysville, Wash., store for pickup.

After picking them up, he wrapped up the still sealed box and put it under the tree. But when his daughter opened the box Christmas morning, she was instead greeted with four cans of tuna fish.

“I was upset,” Lopez said. “My daughter was crying … had tears in her eyes.”

What's worse is that the Lopez family doesn't even eat tuna because their youngest daughter is allergic.

Lopez said he planned to take the tuna and headphones box back to Walmart.
