It seems like Justin Bieber will in fact be retiring the ripe old age of 19. A week after dropping the bomb that he was leaving the music business during a radio interview, the singer has reiterated his intention to retire in a tweet.
My beloved beliebers I'm officially retiring

Bieber sent fans and media into a frenzy after making the revelation last week, but longtime manager Scooter Braun came forward Wednesday Dec. 19 to try and downplay the news.
“This is the fun thing about these Vines [videos] people post," Braun said of the interview clips hitting social media. "They’re only a certain amount of time, so they cut off before the rest of the statement when he says ‘just kidding.’”
He added that while the singer will in fact be taking a break from the spotlight, it's too early to be thinking about retirement.
"He hasn’t taken time off since he was 12… he knows he wants it, and wants to spend time with this family," Braun said. "His younger brother and sister are starting to grow up and he doesn’t want to miss their childhood. I think for his well being at 19, 20 years old, [it’s good for him] to take time for himself, to figure out who he wants to be."
Bieber's former girlfriend, Disney Channel alum Selena Gomez, also announced her plans to "spend some time on herself" last week after canceling the Australian leg of her Stars Dance tour.
Bieber's fifth studio album, Journals, was released Monday.
