Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Police in Northampton, Mass., arrested four people for allegedly transporting 1,250 bags of heroin stamped with the names "Obamacare" or "Kurt Cobain" in their vehicle.
Massachusetts State Trooper Joseph Petty pulled over the vehicle when it committed "several violations," WBZ-TV, Boston, reported.
Petty said he noticed the drugs in the vehicle during the stop and a K-9 unit discovered 1,250 bags of heroin.
Tyler Robenstein, 23, Marquese Jones, 22, Ashley Beaulieu, 21, and Sherod Green, 21, were all charged with trafficking in heroin, conspiracy to violate drug laws and possession to distribute a Class A substance. Robenstein was also ticketed for speeding, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to change lanes for an emergency vehicle.
