During Sunday Night Football, Cincinnati Bengals punter Kevin Huber was all set to kick the ball away from his 16-yard line at the end of his team’s first possession when Steelers safety Will Allen contacted him in the end zone after a bad snap. After all the dust settled, Pittsburgh ended up taking over at the 1-yard line.

Things only got worse from there.

Later on in the quarter, Huber punted to Steelers receiver Antonio Brown and the kick got returned for a touchdown. Huber didn’t get to see very much of the play after getting flattened when Steelers linebacker Terence Garvin cleaned up on him with an open-field block to the face.

The unflagged play resulted in Huber suffering what was initially termed a “dental injury” and turned out to be a fractured jaw. Huber could not return to the game and could end up missing time with the injury.

To make matters even more painful, the favored Bengals were upset 30-20 by the Steelers.

Ouch…
