It's a very merry Christmas for the folks at Duck Dynasty, whose seasonal special raked in an impressive 8.9 million viewers on Wednesday night.

Back-to-back episodes on the A&E reality show pulled in 4.5 million viewers in the key demographic of adults 18-49, and 4.6 million adults 25-54.

All told, the bearded boys (and their camo-clad ladies) of the Robertson family helped boost A&E's primetime ratings up 12 percent in 2013.

Duck Dynasty is set to return for its fifth season on January 15.
