Dec. 10 (UPI) -- You never know what's in your fast food.

When Priscilla Salas bit into a Dunkin' Donuts croissant last week, she tasted more than deliciously buttery pastry. She also got a mouthful of razor blades.

Salas said she found several metal razor blade shards in the croissant, which had cut into her mouth and made her bleed.

"I was floored completely," she said.

Salas contacted Dunkin' Donuts, who said the shards could have come from a box cutter. They are reportedly looking into the distribution center and promised to send Salas a gift card.

In an incident earlier this year, police arrested Utah's Carol Lee Leazer-Hardman and Michael Condor for planting razors inside donuts and then pretending to find them. Condor admitted later that he and Leazer-Hardman had hoped to get a cash settlement from the vendors.
