Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Will Ferrell's ignorant and egotistical alter-ego has been tearing up the country with his journalism skills ahead of the actor's appearance in the Anchorman sequel. He opened the Ron Burgundy School of Communication at Emerson College and co-anchored a 30-minute newscast for a small station in Bismark, N.D., where he discussed hockey fights and a traffic cop.
Burgundy will also anchor ESPN's SportsCenter on Thursday. As a teaser, the network released his interview with Denver quarterback Peyton Manning. Among other things, Burgundy wanted to know how Manning managed to achieve success without a mustache.
"I'll be honest with you, you look like a succulent baby lamb."
