Lara Flynn Boyle's makeup-free photos raise eye brows

(UPI) -- Lara Flynn Boyle looks unrecognizable in a set of candid shots taken in Los Angeles earlier this week.

The photos have prompted many to think the former "Practice" star underwent cosmetic surgery, but sources close to the actress told TMZ that was not the case.

According to the source, the pictures -- shot while the actress was shopping at The Glen Center in L.A.-- were simply taken from a bad angle.

Though several sources denied that there was anything wrong with Boyle, 42, TMZ points out that her face look's consistently different in a series of photos.

Earlier this year, the brunette beauty's look raised eyebrows after she stepped out in Beverly Hills with "a noticeably fuller face and lips."
