(UPI) -- Memphis Grizzlies owner Robert Pera may soon have to put his money - a lot of it - where his mouth is after challenging Michael Jordan to a $1 million game of one-on-one via Twitter on Monday night.

Pera, who bought the Grizzlies in 2012, was responding to a suggestion that he take on Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban in a game of one-on one when he brought up facing off against Jordan.

Then he kicked it up a notch:

According to reports, Pera can actually play a little ball, but the chances of him being able to defeat the best player in NBA history are slim to none.

Jordan, 50, would probably make short work of the 35-year-old Pera but at least it would be for a good cause. If it actually happens, the money from the game is said to be going to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
