(UPI) -- Rumors that Lea Michele is already on the rebound surfaced Wednesday as the "Glee" star was overheard talking about a "cute boy" at a recent Hollywood Party.

Michele, 27, lost her co-star boyfriend Corty Monteith to an alcohol and drug overdose in July. According to insiders, the actress is slowly beginning to move on.

"She was excited [the cute guy] was coming," the insider told Us Weekly.

Michele recently opened up about losing her on and off screen love to TV Week Australia, ahead of "Glee's" highly anticipated memorial episode for Monteith.

"I feel like, for me personally, I've lost two people: Cory and Finn," she said.

"We had a beautiful memorial for Cory in the auditorium and some of the cast members sang and people spoke about him," Michele said of the tribute episode. "It only felt right that we would do the same thing for Finn, so I felt it was very therapeutic."

Michele reportedly had a hand in writing the memorial episode. Showrunner Ryan Murphy said filming the tribute had been "very rough" on the actress.

"Almost everything in that episode is from the first take of every performance, because the actors and the crew had a really hard time shooting it," he said. "I've never seen a crew where you can't continue shooting because they left the room sobbing."
