Although they announced their marriage was over in January, Ashley Judd rushed to Dario Franchitti's side after he was involved in a major crash Sunday during the Houston Grand Prix. With just the "clothes on my back and the dogs," Judd hurried to the Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center where Franchitti was undergoing surgery to repair his broken right ankle.

Franchitti, and Indy 500 champ, was driving at high speeds when his car flew into the air and crashed into a fence. He suffered a concussion and two fractured vertebrae, in addition to the broken ankle, and 14 people in the crowd were injured.
The driver was awake and tweeted his thanks to supporters Monday.
"Thank you to everyone for all the well wishes," he said. "They mean a lot to me."
IndyCar put out a statement Monday, saying they would investigate race safety.
"Our thoughts remain with everyone affected by yesterday's accident," the organization said. "Thank you to the people of Houston for their support of the Grand Prix and their concern for Dario Franchitti, the fans and race personnel. IndyCar is thoroughly reviewing the incident. Reducing the risks that are associated with racing is one of our highest priorities and receives our constant and on-going focus."
Franchitti, 40, and Judd, 44, announced in January they were ending their 10-year marriage but remained on good terms. Still, neither party had filed for divorce, and it wasn't immediately clear Sunday if they had reconciled or just remained close.
