Warner Bros. Entertainment already has a "Harry Potter" spinoff series in the pipeline, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," and signed J.K. Rowling herself to pen the screenplay.

But a Bleeding Cool report suggests that Warner Bros. has much bigger plans for extending its "Harry Potter" film universe. The studio has also trademarked rights to "Tales Of Beedle The Bard" and "Fantastic Beasts'" main character, Newt Scamander.

Warner Bros. also trademarked a number of names related to Harry Potter's favorite broomstick-based sport, Quidditch -- including spinoff book "Quidditch Through the Ages," and Quidditch teams Wimbourne Wasps, the Chudley Cannons and the Kenmare Kestrels.

Rowling wrote "Fantastic Beasts" and "Quidditch Through the Ages" for charity back in 2001. "Tales of Beetle the Bard" is a book of children's stories referenced in "Harry Potter," also published for charity in 2008.
