The 43-year-old actress and "SNL" alum played an Albanian refugee named Blerta, who marvels at the self-obsessive "problems" of young Brooklynites.

"The SNL parody of Girls was a true honor," Dunham tweeted after watching the show with fellow showrunner Mindy Kaling.

"Very excited about the current lineup of SNL ladies," she added. "They are funny like whoa."
